Weather Policy

As you are probably aware the start to the summer has not really been that great infact it's been pretty awful. We would like to make it clear that if we make the already difficult decision to cancel the booking because of bad weather, that our customers respect our decision and appreciate that we are making the decision to keep your children and guests safe. We would like to play no part in any accidents or injuries occurring due to our poor decision making in hiring an inflatable out in bad weather conditions. Please also understand that if an accident was to happen that we would be the first people that the parents would come to demanding answers. We closely monitor weather forecasts everyday the week prior to your event and may send out warning messages a few days before if the weather is not looking good. This is not the final decision but more to give you notice and time to get a PLAN B in place if we do have to cancel. As parents ourselves we find this to be the best way rather then doing what most other companies do and cancelling on the day of your hire without warning. This can lead to great panic and stress on your special day.

We would also like to stress that we will not tolerate abusive or persuasive messages or behaviour from customers about the decision we are making. Sending screenshots of different forecasts etc will not change our decision as we go by our own sources which we find to be the most reliable through our experience. So again please understand that we are doing it for the safety of your children and guests. We also understand that the forecasters do get it wrong but this is out of our control. We have to presume that forecasts are correct as we can not take risks when it comes to safety. Our policy is that if forecasts are showing rain for the better part of the day then we will have to cancel. If we feel that the weather will cause any safety issues then we will cancel. We may even cancel if forecasts predict rain for late afternoon/early evening as rolling and storing soaking wet inflatables can lead to damaged and mouldy equipment. If you are not happy with this policy and would prefer to cancel and book with a company without any safety and weather policies in place etc then please do so in good time. Sorry if this seems blunt but we would rather let you know beforehand so that you are aware and hopefully people can be little more understanding as to why we make these difficult decisions with the opportunity to find another company who doesn't take safety seriously, if you wish.
